How Haulotte Group compares
These are the makes buyers actually cross-shop against Haulotte Group.
Haulotte Group vs Genie
Powered access in Britain is largely a two-horse conversation, and Genie is one of the horses. The GS scissor lifts are the machine most people mean when they ask to hire a scissor lift.
Haulotte Group vs JLG Industries
JLG Industries, founded in Pennsylvania in 1969 by John L. Grove, is one of the two dominant global manufacturers of boom lifts, scissor lifts and telehandlers alongside Genie. Its booms and scissors form a large share of major UK powered access hire fleets. Contractors and access hire companies specify JLG where diesel boom lift reach and outdoor terrain capability are the priority.
Haulotte Group vs Skyjack
Skyjack is a Canadian manufacturer of scissor lifts, boom lifts and telehandlers, founded in 1985 and owned since 2002 by the Canadian manufacturing group Linamar. Its scissor lifts are a mainstay of UK powered access hire fleets, valued for straightforward mechanics and parts availability. It competes directly with Genie, JLG and Haulotte in electric scissor lift and boom lift hire.
Haulotte Group vs Niftylift
The British answer in powered access, and particularly strong in trailer-mounted booms - the machines a small contractor can tow to site behind a van rather than needing a low-loader.
