1. About GetBrent

GetBrent is a trading name of Fx Health Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, and the brand and website are operated under licence in the UK by Hall-McLean & De Watts (HM-D) Ltd. GetBrent is a directory, introduction and booking platform that connects customers seeking equipment hire and purchases with registered UK businesses that offer hire and retail services. Some hire and purchase transactions can be initiated, paid for, or completed through tools we provide on the platform - including third-party booking systems we integrate with (such as Coastr) and any first-party booking, checkout or shop functionality offered under the GetBrent name. Where we facilitate a transaction, we do so as a platform intermediary acting on the vendor's behalf; the underlying contract for the supply of the equipment, service or goods is between the customer and the vendor, and GetBrent is not the supplier.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using GetBrent, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users: hirers (customers), vendors (hire companies), and visitors.

3. For customers (hirers)

• GetBrent provides a directory of hire and retail companies. We do not own, operate, or inspect any equipment, service or goods listed.
• However you contact a vendor - by enquiry, by phone, by completing a booking through a third-party booking system we integrate with (such as Coastr), or by completing a booking, checkout or purchase through any first-party tool we offer - the contract for the hire, service or purchase is between you and the vendor. GetBrent acts as a directory and platform intermediary; we are not the supplier.
• We make no warranty as to the accuracy of vendor listings, equipment condition, availability, or pricing.
• You should independently verify a vendor's insurance, licences, and suitability before hiring or purchasing.
• GetBrent is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from a hire or purchase arranged or facilitated through the platform.

4. For vendors

Eligibility

• You must be a registered UK business to list on GetBrent.
• By listing, you confirm you hold all licences, insurance, and permits required to operate your hire business.
• You are responsible for keeping your listing accurate, up to date, and not misleading.

Listings

• You grant GetBrent a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your listing content on the platform.
• You must not list services you do not offer, or make false claims about your business.
• GetBrent reserves the right to remove or suspend any listing that violates these terms or is otherwise harmful to the platform.

Subscriptions

• Paid plans are billed via Stripe on the cycle selected at signup (monthly or annual).
• You may cancel your paid plan at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no refunds are issued for unused time.
• We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Gold Member rates are locked for 3 years from the start of an active subscription, after which the standard rate applies.

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• Use GetBrent for any unlawful purpose.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Scrape, copy, or replicate platform data without permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform.
• Use the platform to harass, spam, or solicit users.
• Interfere with the operation of the platform.

6. Intellectual property

All content on GetBrent - including the Brent character, branding, design, and platform code - is owned by or licensed to Fx Health Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Vendor listing content remains the property of the vendor. By submitting it, you grant us the licence described in section 4.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fx Health Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of GetBrent, including loss of revenue, profit, or data.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will notify registered vendors of material changes by email with 14 days' notice. Continued use of the platform after that period constitutes acceptance.
