Who uses it
The Niftylift HR12 is a compact, comparatively lightweight articulating boom lift built by UK manufacturer Niftylift in Milton Keynes, aimed at maintenance and construction access jobs on rough or soft ground where 4-wheel drive and low machine weight are an advantage. Its outreach and working height put it in the lower-mid band of boom lift hire fleets, below the taller diesel booms used for larger commercial and industrial access work. Being UK-built gives it strong dealer and parts presence in the domestic hire market.
Closest alternative
The model most often cross-shopped against the HR12 4x4 is the Genie Z-34/22N.
