Fautras

Fautras is a French manufacturer specialising in horse transport, building lightweight polyester-bodied horse trailers and vans such as the Provan range. It has a limited but established presence in the UK through specialist horsebox and trailer dealers, appealing to private horse owners who want a car-towable trailer rather than a 7.5 tonne horsebox.

Fautras vs Cheval Liberte

The continental alternative in a horsebox market that otherwise defaults to Ifor Williams. Aluminium construction, herringbone layouts and Pullman suspension give more space per kilo and a smoother ride, and Maxi Living adds changing space without stepping up to a lorry.
