What identification do I need to hire tools?
WhyBuy will typically require a valid photo ID (driving licence or passport) and proof of address. A deposit - either cash or on card - is usually held during the hire period.
Are tools delivered or do I collect?
WhyBuy offers both collection from their depot and delivery to site for larger items. Smaller tools are generally collect-only. Contact them to confirm availability and any delivery charges.
What happens if a hired tool breaks down during use?
If a tool develops a fault through normal use, WhyBuy will replace it as quickly as possible at no extra charge. Report any issues immediately - do not attempt to repair hired equipment yourself.
