What licence do I need to drive a specialist vehicle?
Licence requirements depend on the vehicle's weight. Vehicles up to 3,500 kg (3.5 tonnes) gross vehicle weight can be driven on a standard category B licence. Vehicles between 3.5-7.5 tonnes require a C1 licence. For anything heavier, a full HGV (category C or CE) licence is required. Zoom Vehicle Collection and Delivery will advise on licence requirements when you enquire.
Is insurance included in the hire price?
Specialist vehicles hired from Zoom Vehicle Collection and Delivery include third-party insurance as standard. Comprehensive insurance - covering the vehicle itself - is usually an optional extra. Confirm coverage details before hire.
